BioWare announced a partnership with Extra Life Edmonton to raise money for the Stollery Children’s Hospital.

This Saturday, September 12, 2014 at 7:00 PM at the Telus World of Science Bioware will broadcast on an IMAX screen a special walkthrough demonstration of Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Tickets are free only requiring that participants register and create a personal fundraising page to collect donations prior to the event. At the time of this writing, five tickets remained. Tickets are available here. Afterwards, at 8:30 PM the top ten Extra Life fundraisers will have the opportunity to play Dragon Age: Inquisition on a Barco HD digital projector with a 17,000 watt digital sound system.

The International Extra Life marathon commences on Saturday, October 25, 2014. Extra Life is a 24 hour gaming marathon for raising money to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. You can check our Extra Life’s website here.

Accessibility Angle:

The chance to see anticipated and unreleased video game title on the big screen while fundraising for charity is exciting for all gamers. Unanswered is whether BioWare would respond to a disability related request such as enabling subtitles during the gameplay or showing the game’s available controller options.
